61: Everest summiter Stephen Bock tells his story

On the 23rd May 2010, Stephen Bock was fortunate to reach the highest point on the planet and in doing so become the 61st Australian to summit Mount Everest.
His story is one of an ordinary guy facing an extraordinary dream. When the opportunity came knocking Stephen was 20kgs overweight, didn’t have the $50,000 fees required  and hadn’t climbed for over 10 years.

Here how he overcame the odds – to within only 11 months, get into the mental and physical shape of his life and reach the roof of the world.
Stephen, whom I had the pleasure of training for this amazing adventure has kindly offered to do his inspiring audio visual presentation for Joe’s Garage members.
This is FREE and is a strictly members only event. It can be found under events on your members log in page.
Details: The event will be held at “The Garage”. It is on Wednesday 27th February at 7pm
Any questions about this evening please contact the office via email or phone 02 8021 3690
