Personal Training Client Focus – Sukie Southern

Big congratulations to Sukie Southern! Sukie took out both Gold (relay) and Bronze (80m sprint) at the Australian National Surf Life Saving Championships in Western Australia in the womens Masters events. This is her first year competing, not only did she get state titles but took out the nationals as well. Sukie is also this month’s client focus.

At what level do you do your sport, what accolades have you received?
Branch, State, National (and in the future, World’s/international). First season, Gold Medal in Women’s relay 140 yrs min (ages of four team members have to add up to 140yrs or more), Bronze Medal in 45-49yrs sprint
How long have you been training with Joe?
One year turning me into a Personal Trainer. One year turning me into a sprinter
If you could live anywhere where would it be?
Northern Beaches, with easier access to Europe

What have been the benefits of training with Joe?
Knows his stuff. Energetic and positive vibe which is infectious. Integral part of achieving the ambitious goal I set myself a year ago. He helped build me a body that could withstand the loads of sprint training, and maximized my strength and speed, which was pretty amazing considering I hadn’t sprinted for over 30 years!
