Lots of News and Lots of Changes at the Garage

Winter is drawing to a close and change is in the air? What changes are you committing to over the next 12 months?
Lots of news from the Garage and lots of new faces in the Garage. Welcome all you guys and girls who are new to “the garage crew” as we like to call you.
There seems to be so much going on at the moment, which is great! Certainly keeping us on our Toes.
Firstly, Si is off to do his own thing. He’s off on holiday with his family at the moment and had decided that when he gets back he wants to focus on his own project, which is a class based studio around the corner. Si has been a great trainer, and we wish him and his new venture all the best.
Over the next couple of weeks there may be a couple of temporary schedule changes on the days that Simon was coaching. Please keep your eye on the schedule and check it properly.
Secondly, Dani and Emma are helping me taking up the slack with both classes and PT’s. They are turning out to be awesome trainers, we are getting great feedback from you guys! (If you want more details on Dani and Emma’s one on one and buddy coaching you can get that on the personal training page).
The girls are also running our fantastic outdoor Bootcamp program again, doing a fantastic job.
Thirdly welcome to Zoe Dixon our new Yoga Teacher, she is running an absolutely fantastic Yin Yoga class for us on a Sunday. Yin is perfect for those who train hard and need a real good stretch and release. Book in!
We have also been asked to get involved with The Australian Mytochondrial Foundation, who are doing a sponsored run/walk called “The Bloody Long Walk” from Palm Beach to North Head… watch this space. We will be writing training programs and tips for them.
…and finally with all this going on, I’ve decided to high tail it to the mountains and I want you to come with me. We are organising a Trek to summit Island Peak in Nepal in April 2014.
Phew! We do like to keep ourselves busy!
Cheers and all the best, stay healthy….. and when in doubt use a foam roller 🙂
