JB Olympics Xmas Party

At Joe Bonington we have now been in business for 7 fantastic years. We’d like to take the opportunity to say a big thank you to all our clients past and present, whether they be our Trekkers, Groups, Personal Training clients or Corporate clients, and join us for fun and games on Sunday 30th November at Manly Dam.
We will supply a Gourmet Sausage sizzle and the games, you just have to bring yourself, your partner, your family and a ‘have a go’ attitude.
This is a free event (You must RSVP)

The Events are as follows:

10am (optional) – Fun Run
Those that are keen for the Bush Run we will meet at the earlier time of 10am. The Manly Dam Bush Run is 7.3Km  (Running track map – please print off and bring, you’ll need it. We lose somebody everytime we do this run… it’s great!)
11am – Water events

  • Feet first sculling race
  • Furthest underwater

Track and Field

  • Sack Race
  • Egg and Spoon
  • 3 Legged Race
  • Toss the Welly – (Throw the Gumboot)
  • Tug of War
  • Carry the Spouse – (If you do not have a spouse we have several different models for hire, condition of hired goods cannot be guaranteed)

Gymnastics

  • Best cartwheel
  • Longest handstand

12pm – BBQ
So we know how many we are catering for you must RSVP by November 10th, with an estimate of how many people you are bringing. Please also state whether you are participating in the Run. All Guests will be expected to participate in at least one event.

Date:

Arrive:
10am for the run or 11am for the fun and food
Parking:
Main Car Parking area is to the NW of Picnic Area 1 (see amenities map)
Bring:
Partners, kids, water, towel, swimming cozzie and goggles, something to sit on, sunblock, grog, food other than sausages! Sun shelter if you need it. For those of you that know Joe, it goes without saying that a change of clothes in the car may be advisable – you never know what may happen.
RSVP:
Must RSVP by Nov 10th stating whether you are coming at 10am for the run or 11am for everything else
