Basecamp Open Day 7th May 2016

Do you want to know the secrets to the perfect handstand, or try and balance on a slackline?  Would you like to try out a HIIT class or see how fast you can row 300m?  Want to know what ‘Butter Coffee’ is or how to fix a broken diet? Want to know
bodyweightwhat it’s like at the top of the highest mountain in the world, Everest?
Then make sure you are free on Saturday 7th May to come down to the Joe’s Basecamp Open day.
Joe is throwing open the doors of his purpose built adventure training mecca for
an open day a
nd 1st Birthday Party.  Can you believe it’s been open over a year already!
Saturday May 7th will see a fun filled action and adventure packed day at the Basecamp. There will be a whirlwind of activity from classes, challenges, demos, seminars, films and prizes.

as well as we’ll be running some Youth Classes and there will be plenty to keep them entertained.
We will be supported by some of our awesome practitioner partners, including Empower Exercise Physiology, North Curl Curl Physiotherapists and Northern Beaches Massage.
The North Face will be showcasing their latest equipment and apparel and several adventure travel experts and events will be enticing you with trips and challenges.
You can boost your nutrition too and check out the clean  products form True Protein or Bounce.
And of course, there will be plenty of prizes and giveaways as well.
Here’s a small flavor of what you can expect in the first few hours:

  • Joes Basecamp-248am: Class – Coaches Choice – I hour where all are welcome
  • 9am: Nutrition – ‘Butter coffee’ morning
  • 9.15am: Workshop – Core balancing on the Slackstrap
  • 9.30am: Seminar – How to Fix a Broken Diet
  • 10am: Class – HIIT, 20 mins
  • 10.15 am: All Morning Challenge – How fast can you row 300m?
  • 10.30am: Class – Youth workout, 20 mins
